The Story

Gantheaume Point, Broome, Western Australia, Australia

Flying above Gantheaume Point in a helicopter gave me great views of this areas impressive rock formations. Later in the day, at low tide I was then able to walk around and witness the incredible dinosaur footprints at this location. An incredible insight into the ancient connections to this land that still exist today. - Scott Leggo

130 million years ago dinosaurs roamed the Kimberley coast and today what remains are amazing fossilised footprints. Along Broome’s Gantheaume Point and up to James Price Point on the Dampier Peninsula the tracks of up to seven different dinosaur species from the Cretaceous period, including sauropods, ornithopods and stegosaurus, have been verified
